Let The Third Year Begin!

So today was the first day as being a third year and in a years time, us three Bloggers will be coming out as Game Developers (Gasp). We've had our ups, and downs, mainly downs but we never knew this blog would be still going (I know, i know, we always say it). You can still buy our book and we still do the casual appearance at your local book shop, you just got to look for us. But apart from doing that, we have a year now to make a game and present it. We even met our Design teacher again and he is totally opposite from how he was from the past two years. We think this good twin finally broke out and killed his evil twin, could happen.

Anyway, this is our last year, and no doubt strange, funny, but strange things will happen. So stay tuned.

Did he just say he didn't want us to do documents?!?!

Ryan.

The Game Makers - Seasons 5 & 6

Hi folks! Sorry we took so long doing this post. We left the lights on after we left last time and now the bulbs have gone and we've been having to work extra to pay off the electricity bill.

They say good things come in threes. Back to the Future, Toy Story, Busted, Community (well, that's now got a fourth season)... and us! There's 3 of us! But there's also 3 years of University for us and we're just beginning this final year. It seems like yesterday we were put together (although, originally Liam's place was taken with Albert). Actually, I lied. It seems like yesterday that I watched a weird film with my new flatmates and that's because it was yesterday.

Anyway, this is just to say we are Still Alive (Portal hasn't got a third game yet, but then again Valve can't count to three). And also we've dug through the archives and found three unreleased photos of us.

A rare photo of Dan, Albert and Ryan (before Dan and Ryan had hair)

We can't even remember this day.

Still Here...

Hello there Viewers!

Sorry we have not posted for a while - we've been rather busy. Of course it seems like Blogger has too. I don't even know if this post is going to reach you guys; this interface is more confusing that the words that Simon (friend of the Bloggers) comes out with.

In our time away from blogging we've been making games. Corgi Rider, that Queen's Head thing, Gnome Patrol, Duck Nukem, Hat Tricks, Time Punch and Twin Paradox. That's 7 games that us 3 have all been working on in the past few months, 4 of them made in less than 16 hours collectively. But, of course, we must continue to make games! Our third year projects are now entering their opening phases. And what a thrill they are going to be...

The Bloggers be Jammin!

So last weekend we wandered in to the laboratory of madness in Manchester.

this adventure lead to the creation of 3 games only the bloggers and and a couple of mystery guest could be involved in.

First up is the Queen after a night on the town!

Corgi Riders

The Queen riding Monty under the table

The Queen Jumping about

The main menu created by the one and only Ryan

Here we have the news bulletin of the queen on her wild night

After encountering a wandering duck Liam thought it would be funny to brick and burn the duck which lead to the creation of Duck Nukem yes that's right hail to the quack baby!

Here we have the ducks that Liam decided to brick

The environment were created by the bloggers very own Ryan which were then deposited into unity by Dan

What first started out as a simple brick incident lead to the jammers getting a bit peckish and so was created the flame thrower so that we could get some crispy duck

This has been a special guest entry by The AWG (@HUN73R_90 , Abdul Ahmad)

All the creations above would not had been possible without the help of:

Dan Donnan (@frogmyster3)

I'll Use my Trusty Frying Pan as a Squirrel Eating Pan!

Hi there kids!

Us Bloggers have been extremely busy recently. With deciphering the true meaning of the Wii Table, learning of Abdul falling up the stairs (again) and many hours working on the Troll Player (it's a real thing!), we've not had much time to update this here blog.

So, I was walking home today after an eventful afternoon of watching strange things happen to donkeys and counting down for a trailer, I saw something a little strange. In front of me was a car that was parked at a strange angle next to a knocked over bin.

A photo of me walking home earlier today, taken by the nice naked man who was following me home.
Then I noticed something even stranger. There was a dead squirrel on the road and two Asian folks staring at it. One of them had a giant scooper in his hand.

A photo taken by me this time.
But that's not all! After I'd got past these crazy people, I decided to go to Greggs (Dear Greggs, why do you have nothing more than cookies on sale at 5.54pm?). Whilst walking up there, two women walked past me. One of them looked at me and said "Hey Handsome". At this point I noticed that this woman, wearing fishnets and most likely sticky shoes (she'd probably been to Fifth Ave last night), was actually a ladyboy. I don't think I've walked that fast for a while.

What the Hell is Happening?!?!?

Evening viewers,

After trying to work out what this triangle thing is, we phoned up a renowned Professor for help. Unfortunately, he was too busy banging Ash's mum so we had to rely on Brian Cox instead. For some reason though, he was in the Arctic filming for his new program so we popped up there to get him to investigate.

"As you can see, this is most peculiar." - Prof Cox
Unfortunately even he didn't know what it was but he did know it had been seen once before in the valley of the Gerudos. When we returned home however:
How is he doing this?
When is this going to end?

He's getting to strong!

hey view.. *spits out blood*

As you have seen, Liam is back but how, and why? but its not good, we tried to send him back to his grave but this triangle which we all have is stopping us from doing that. He seems to know how to use his powers while we don't. We tried catching him, but he has gotten stronger since last time. What we happen... who knows!
Can't stop me, bitcheeeessss
DAMN YOU!!!

What are those?......Sand Sharks

Hey everyone,

Been a bit of a teary day today, we went to Liam's funeral, still can't believe that he got eaten by a sand Shark (common is most places of indonesia, i've been told). Most of the people who knew him turned up, but don't threat viewers, if we get enough views.. hmmm lets say to 16,000 i'm pretty sure we could make a delorean and stop this or even make a device to raise him from the dead. How hard can that be to make!...
Anyway, hears some snaps that got taken.

Decided to take the funeral outside, just some photos of Liam.
Dan and Me, also the crew.... and our good friend Zimos!

RIP Liam

Hello loyal viewers,

It is with great regret to inform all 15,000 of you that Liam has unfortunately met a grim end.

Us Bloggers decided to celebrate handing in all our Semester 1 work by going to the beach. Little did we know that it was inhabited by sharks. Yes, you heard me... *sniff* sharks on a beach.

We will arrange a proper send-off post later this week but for now, goodbye old friend. It was good while it lasted.

Its what we actually do!

Hi Viewers,

Over the past months, maybe the whole blog, we stated that we current studying in games design which is true, but from recent posts we have kinda drifted away from that. Myself is studying 3D which involves 3D environments and characters and putting them into a Games Engine while Dan and Liam are actually making Games Engines and other useful stuff which lets designers go to work as they're doing programming and also, its not everyday you have a blog which has nearly 15,000 views so might as well take advantage of it.

Below are images of a Greek Environment which i made in 3DS Max and put them into UDK (Unreal Engine)

Heroes of Earth #1

Afternoon dear listener,

You may have seen my half-failed iOS post where the text worked and the image didn't (after a few hours, anyway). Now I come with a post with text written on an Android, images uploaded from the 3DS and the merging of the two done on PC. You just can't get the technology that does everything these days!

So here is a brand new, hand-drawn comic (not the comic, Liam is still working on that) - Heroes of Earth.

To Be Continued...

Sonic and the Saints

Hey kids!

As far as I am aware, this is the first ever post to the blog done via an iOS device so apologies if things are a bit wonky. To add to Ryan's comic, last time I was in Manchester at night a hobo asked me for money. I didn't have any so asked him for some instead.

Anyway, since before the festive period Liam was playing Saints Row: The Third and whacking people with giant dildos. Now I have been able to join the fun and it is REALLY fun. I've also completed Sonic Generations on the 3DS in a total of 1 hour, 36 minutes while Ryan has been rolling around at the speed of sound on the Xbox instead. Expect more opinions in the future.

Hi Viewers,

So it's 2012, what has it got installed nobody knows, but i know i'm still going to be a troll.
I went into Manchester last night and i came across a Homeless man. Well, i'll let the comic explain.

Happy New Year,
Ryan
