Where We Have Been

It has come to my attention that nothing new has been posted here for 12 days. While we probably went longer than that over the Christmas holidays, I think you will agree with me that a lack of posts is unacceptable. However we can explain - Liam has been called to stand in for the new Blue Ranger in the brand new Power Rangers series: Samurai after the actor injured himself while performing the "za-za-za", Ryan has been collaborating with Harry Hill on a new joke book due out sometime later this year and as for myself I was trapped in a cryogenic chamber lab and forced to watch the first episode of the new series of Skins despite my protests. I didn't know we had TVs in Cumbria either. The Elders kept that one quiet.

But truthfully I have been working with Nintendo. I was out in Amsterdam on the 19th January letting people try out the 3DS but at that time I wasn't allowed to play one. I had an entire day of Jonathan Ross coming up to me and saying "have you played this yet?" to which I had to reply, "no Jonathan I haven't". Of course the 3DS is released over here on the 25th March for prices ranging from £195-£220. Nintendo wouldn't tell me the actual price but they did confirm to me that Miyamoto and Iwata had a "special relationship" as Ryan informed me the week before. I also got the chance to ask Reggie whether his body was ready but he just stared at me and then said he'd pummel me on Smash Bros. If only he'd have picked Captain Falcon like I did he might have stood a chance...

Nintendo have invited me however to play the 3DS next Saturday and I will be going to see what it has on offer since I am getting it on day one. The reason I was with them was to create a limited edition bundle. At some point in the near future you will be able to buy the 3DS with The Bloggers' Time Travel Adventures for £250. The PC version is still in development but an update on that - there will be some in-game achievements and that should be ready for testing soon.

Lots in Store

So you may be aware that we announced a new game last week and it's title has been revealed as The Bloggers' Time Travel Adventure. James Cameron's Avatar has kindly previewed it for us and you can access it now by clicking the banner up top or visiting the sidebar that way. -->
While TBTTA will probably only be released on PC, we have been testing out whether it would work on the Nintendo DS. Here is a picture of the testing in action:

The Bloggers heading to DS?
Of course there is also the second issue of the comic which Liam is currently working on and Ryan mentioned that we have a new TV show starting on UK channel Dave. It is a mix of us touring the country and meeting our fans with some in-studio action featuring mini-games and other stuff. In the first episode which we are going to finish filming soon, Ryan does some stand-up, we perform our charity single along with our new single 'Poker Face' from our debut album - The Fame, Liam shows off a video he made at school involving a rape scene and I tackle some viewer's complaints by killing them.

On top of all of that (to recap - a game, a comic and a TV show) we also have a new book. This however is not the much awaited fourth book in our popular series, you'll have to wait a bit more for that, but is a tale of what goes on behind the scenes. We are currently negotiating with a publisher on how much it will cost and we expect somewhere in the region of £5 and Behind the Laughter as the book is called will be available in print and as an eBook.

It's getting late now so I'll leave you with another picture from the game. Adios.

The Blog Game

There have been various rumours that there is to be a game released featuring us three bloggers. Up until now we have played down these rumours however a recent scan of Japanese magazine Corocoro has appeared on internet message boards.

A scan from the latest Corocoro
It's pretty obvious that this scan is related to us with pictures of Jack Black, the Chuckle Brothers and even a screenshot of the blog istelf. There are also two screenshots of the Japanese version of the game. While the game isn't coming out in Japan, already fans have found the source of this game and began translating it. There isn't an official release date as of yet but the game is under development and will be released at some point this year. Here is a hi-res image of one of the screenshots:

Trollface: The Comic Rescue

As you should know, our overlord, the mighty Trollface has been captured (if you didn't know, I am disappoint). One of the conditions we have to met to see his release is post the second issue of the bloggers comic before February. You should be happy to know production is under-way and we've got a treat for our fans that aren't kidnappers. Do you not like the stupid grin I always have on my face? Do you not like Dan judging you with is eyes? Does Ryan's look of sexual deviance haunt your dreams? Have you not realised that all our faces are the same? If you answers any of those questions with a yes then you'll love these Special edition covers which you get to preview exclusively here:

Dan
Liam
Ryan

That's right, you get to choose your favourite blogger to be on the front cover, isn't it cool? The rest of issue 2 will be available soon. And don't ask me to do another preview, I had to use all my stealthiest moves to get these out of the production office without Ryan breaking my face.

By now everyone should have look are the first issue of the Bloggers comic. If you haven't click here (or the banner on the top of the page) and see what you missing out on.  Tell us what you think in the comments below. You can give use suggestions too and ,who knows, they might just make it into issue 2.

Trollface is Captive

Greetings 2011. Over this festive period I took the perfect chance to strike and raided the house of the one you know as Trollface. I have gained the passwords to everything on the internet and have taken over this blog to deliver a message. If you want Trollface back then certain conditions have to be met:
  • This blog must gain 2500 hits by February
  • A second comic must be posted by February
  • The one known as Ryan must stop making stupid jokes that make even deaf people cringe when they hear them
  • I must be invited on the next tour or to the premiere of the new Blog film
Trollface is mine!
